Adjectives Verbs Nouns Adverbs

Sometimes I get confused, I don't know exactly when a word is an adjective, verb, noun or adverb. For this reason I'm going to type a list of words to remember.

Adjective Verb Noun Adverb
aware be aware awareness
bribe bribe
helplessness
fussy (exigente) demand/call for
hate hatred (odio)
true truth
protest
worship
fast
secluded /isolated isolate isolation
good well

I think you can do something like that to improve your language.

  1. Hmmm, there are lists of affixes (prefixes and suffixes), eg: Slow = adjective, adverb = Slowly, why? as adjective + ly = adverb, but the formula is not so simple, depending on the position of the word, the grammatical class of words can vary, for example:
Not all words ending in-ing and-ed are verbs.
    See:
What are you doing? (in this case "doing" is after a pronoun, then it is a verb).
Doing exercises is good for you. (in this case, "doing" (exercises) is the subject of sentence, then it is not a verb.
I do not know if I became the topic more complicated or easier, the matter is quite complicated, and there is no other way to learn it, but to learn their affixes, and context of the word.
